Voss

12 May 1983

His countryman wrote Mein Kampf,
Pioneered unusual lamps;
Over-ran Poland,
England his goal, and
His armies were nearly the champs.

Out of this race sprang Voss,
A man who'd argue the toss
With God in his Heaven.
His soul was unleavened
- No trace of refinement or gloss.

The Woman loves him from the start.
In him she sees a like heart.
They're spiritually one,
But the death of the Hun
Takes place when they're miles apart.
