Features & profiles
These articles were published in mainstream and less mainstream publications. Subjects include Winston Churchill's influence on then Prime Minister Bob Hawke; the gnostics and early Christianity; and a 1988 article on preserving Australia's literary manuscripts which talked about the impending Internet. ('Eventually the Manuscript Collection will be available externally from our campus - via the use of computer terminals. So if you were in Melbourne and you wanted to look at something here, then you could do it.')
There's also an interview with British Cabinet Minister Peter Hain as George Bush ramped up pressure on Iraq in late 2002:
“We’re not going to be bulldozed into reckless military adventures,” he said.
Sadly, he soon changed his mind.
