I notice that since the near-unanimous pasting the Australian received whenever you ran a blog on the Iraq War, you have ceased running blogs on the Iraq war.

This is less than brave. You and your opinion-leading 'wise men' - who, it turns out, knew less than 20-year-old street activists - made grave mistakes in 2003 and beyond. It would benefit you and your readers if you both acknowledged this and allowed a free discussion of it.

Any coward can turn off the tap of public discussion.
