Britain's anti-terror campaign

To the Independent:

I congratulate Britain on its new anti-terror campaign – and allow me to be one of the first to report something which is “not quite right”.

I believe it is not quite right to invade Islamic countries on spurious grounds.

Such invasions are illegal by international law, going all the way back to Nuremberg.

And in causing widespread outrage among Muslims, they greatly multiply the number of terrorists who want to kill innocents inside the United Kingdom.

Thus, before transit system bombers were heard of, Britain’s government was - by the elementary principles of law and self-interest - the first perpetrator of behaviour that was not quite right.
