Exactly where do you derive the credibility to be commenting on this subject in a national newspaper? You enthusiastically championed the invasion, fiercely attacked its critics, and since its failure, and the outbreak of virtual civil war, and the deaths of 655,000 Iraqis, have been engaged in much semantical gymnastics to get yourself off the hook.

What happened to the young man of principle who once led a revolt against the Murdoch yes-men?
