If you are going to say things that sound silly - your readership is, after all, more sophisticated thesedays - you must adduce evidence. (Is there a single publicly-known member of the Greens who is Trotskyist? )

After a decade-long, and often borderline-hysterical, campaign against the 'theory' of global warming, your newspaper has recently capitulated to the science that everyone else has seen for a long time.

The Australian has egg all over its face, and stretching down to the tops of its feet.

You are hardly in a position to paint the Greens as extremists.
