The Australian must stick to propaganda
1 June 2007
I'm not sure that I'm comfortable with the tack that many of the Australian's commentators have taken lately toward GW Bush and the Iraq war.
I come to the Australian to read propaganda - how vested interests and their paid employees are thinking (and told to think, respectively). I do not come to it to read nuanced analyses, or to engage with fact.
The Australian is my window into the mind of the forces which are destroying the world. That it remains unadulterated by fairness and balance is important to me.
You have started to blur the line between yourselves and factual, balanced media outlets, which I find disappointing.
I trust the lapse is temporary.
